Just the other day I was driving and noticed a new hair salon that opended up. what caught my attention was a giant barber shop pole and a huge sign that wrote "now providing hot towel shaves" Since I am a big fan of old school shaving I decided to drop in for a quick look. The place is called "game day". Inside looked real modern and nice. So I go to front counter and asked the petite blonde what sort of hot towel shaves they provide, specifically, the type of blade used to get the job done. A straight razor? A shavette? a feather disposable straight perhaps? NOPE! Not even close! The girl looked confused. She said that they used mach III. I thought I was gonna keel over! A stinkin' mach III cartridge razor that one buys at shoppers! Are u kiddin' me! Is that what people these days think a hot towel shave is! So of course I said thank you and left. I didnt even bother to ask the price. I could not pay for a cartridge shave that a buddy could do for free.
I had a good laugh in the car on the ride home! If only stylists were edumacated these days, huh!!
Thats my story, cheers!
