Shaving cream in a pump?

I was thinking of buying a decorative-like pump for my shaving counter. Do you fellas think that one of these would work for something like Proraso? Proraso doesn't seem like it'd be much thicker than many lotions, which is what those pumps are designed for. It just seems like it would look pretty nice on the counter, plus dispense just the right amount.

Thoughts?

If the container is not fully airtight, the Proraso will quickly dry out, and will then cease to move in the pump.

I have some slightly dried out Proraso, and the consistency is that of a gel, certainly nowhere near a liquid/ lotion form anymore.

The lid screws on tightly, since any lotion you would put in would be prone to the same issues.

CF is very nearly a soap in consistency. You might want to try Kiss My Face, since it COMES in a pump. So it's already the right consistency.

+1 to Kiss My Face. It has a lotion like consistancy. I have only tried the Proraso soap so I can't comment on that one.

Its as hard as soap! Well, maybe not quite as soap but its definitely as hard as butter straight from the fridge. No way will it pump.

Em's shaving creams come in a pump bottle and are lotion-like in consistency, but work very well. You may consider buying a bottle of it and pouring it into a nicer pump dispenser. Em's creams do need to be shaken up before use though.

I may look into that as well. I use Em's creams. Not sure on Proraso though.

I got a free sample from Em, and was surprised by the consistency of the cream. It is a good cream though.

Feather Nanka Shaving Gel. It comes in a pump. It is brushless, though.
