Shaving comments which scare you.

Just returned from Barcelona, sporting a 2 week growth.. and she said to me..

"Please don't shave"

The next day she went to work, I whipped out the straight.. and went to town.

She came home looking none too impressed!

Yea, I wore a full beard for seven years because my late wife liked the look after I had been sick in bed for a week and not shaved. Now I grow a beard only in the winter months, but it stays VERY neatly trimmed around the edges.

Some Women love their man with a Beard or some kind of facial hair. I have kept a Mustach off and on for decades but I rarely grow a beard anymore due the extra Mid winters DFW TX has.

I use to grow one every winter, even here in DFW. My problem is too much gray in the beard.

I've had a full beard for decades. I keep it neatly trimmed and short and shave just my neck and cheeks. My wife, God bless her, will not allow me to shave it off, even though it is now gray...

I've been sporting a goatee since high school. SWMBO won't let me get rid of it because apparently I don't have a chin...

I had a moustache almost straight for 35+ years. Ocassionally I grow a fall-winter beard as I work outside a lot. My wife was bugging me to lose the 'stache as it has become more gray than anything else and as short as I trim its was almost undetectable. I shaved it off a month ago and now everyone says I look younger and she doesn't want me to grow it back. I have to say shaving the upper lip after 35 years has taken some patience to get right.

i empathize with you gents. However, not being able to faceturbate is one of the main reasons i would never grow a beard. Hee hee.

LOL - Celestino, some of the best fasturbation action comes where baby-smooth cheek meets downy-soft beard.

In a related note, why is it that the greys grow so much faster than the dark hair in my beard? It seems like every morning when I'm trimming up I've got to bushwack two or three thick grey hairs that have grown by inches overnight...

Sounds like I'm one of the lucky ones since my wife loves the feel of a BBS shave. She still rolls her eyes sometimes when I reach for the brush, but she hated the on again, off again stubble I sported for years because I dreaded cartridge shaving.

That's exactly why my wife liked my beard. She was older than I, and the gray in my beard made me look closer to her age.

Haha! I think that's why my wife wants me to not shave. She said I look too young when I shave. I've got grey patching through my 2 week growth these days and my shaved head. I look patchy!

SWMBO won't let me get rid of my goatee for the opposite reason. I have 3 chins and she says it covers them. :confused2

Posts of the night! Hehe its kinda why i dont shave mine, i dont think i have more than one chin but will find out tomorrow :D

My wife likes me sporting stubble / beard that's few days old. The compromise I've made is to shave regularly during week days and not shave on weekends:thumbup: Best of both worlds, and besides it allows facial skin to recuperate from daily exposure to a sharp piece of metal!
