Shavemac Recommendation?

I love my Savile Row 3824. It makes lather from MWF and everything else effortlessly, and is luxurious against the skin. Luxurious in its use of soap, too. My poor Rooney 3/1 Super has been hanging mostly untouched since I got the 3824. I am totally hooked on that feel and don't want to "downgrade" with my next brush. However, it is a bit big for my preference when I want to face lather, though.

I would like to add a smaller brush to my lot, maybe a 20 or 21mm, and I would like opinions on the Shavemac D01 and Silvertip, esp. compared to the Savile Row I have (the newer version of the 3824) or Charles' smaller Silvertip versions.

Since you've already got a SR, go for D01. The Silvertip will be almost exactly like the brush that you already have.

20mm knot, 45mm loft, fan shaped. Trust me, you'll love it.

(alternately you could save some cash and go for Finest)
