Shavemac D01 2-band hair question.

After reading some descriptions of Shavemac D01 in 2-band, it began to appear like this hair grade might be similar to Simpsons Manchurian. Can anyone chime in on this point?

Based on what I have read here, I have the world's softest Shavemac D01 2-band. The hair is much more similar to a Simpson 2-band than a Manchurian. Even if most D01's are stiffer than mine is, they're still not going to be very similar to Manchurian hair.

Thanks for your thoughts. I received a D01 2-band that I ordered by accident-I thought it was a 3-band. The brush feels great - not prickly or scratchy, but soft. I love the extra body.

I haven't tried a manchurian yet, but I will tell you that the 2-band hair from shavemac is a little prickly at first, after using it for a few times it gets a lot softer.

Yes, the similarity is definitely there. Both types of hair have excellent, almost too much, backbone. I would say that the tips on the Manchurian hair is not as scritchy.
