Shave Roulette

Fixed the spreadsheet ..... new shave for tomorrow morning:

5246 is in the books. Not a stellar shave, and it resulted in me changing my bets again.

The soap for this number was the RazoRock WTP Orange Sunrise soap, which I remember only using a few times, the most recent time was actually quite a while ago.

Well, after tonight’s shave, I know why I haven’t used it in so long. First, it made a lather that was plenty slick but had no cushion whatsoever. Second, I am mildly allergic to it. I had forgotten that. But as time went on in the shave, my face started to burn more and more. In the end, I had to wash it off and finish the shave with a different lather.

So, as a result, I am taking this soap off my bets and replacing it with a cream that I haven’t used in forever (and I don’t really use creams at all). This one is I Coloniali, and it smells almost exactly like the famous soap that is no longer made. I’ve been using it only when on vacation, and even then I’ve just put it onto my fingers and rubbed it onto my face.

Well, I’ve made a decision. I’m putting it into my roulette bet, and I will actually lather it up and use it the way it was meant to be used. Certainly nothing can replace the amazing I Coloniali soap, but I think this may end up being close.

As expected the shave was just relaxing. Shaving with the Schafsmilch feels close to having a facial treatment in a spa. I had almost forgotten how great this soap is.

The fresh Nacet paired with the mild Tech provided a buttery smooth shave. 3 passes resulted in a full bbs shave without any irritation.

I basically don't rate my shaves but today's shave simply was a stunning 10/10.

Happy shaves!

4050? Interesting. With my new bets, that shave becomes the following:

Graydog brush, Williams soap, Mythus shavette, and the Fatip Gentile for touch-up. Haven't used the Fatip Gentile in well over a year, maybe two. I have to FIND it when I get home! Should be interesting.
