Shave like a Lady?

Hey All...I have recently converted SWMBO to the wonderful world of DE shaving and want to get her a Lady Gillette so she will have her own "girly" razor. I don't mind sharing mine, but thought she might like the Lady G. My biggest question is what other Gillette DE does it shave similar to? I'd love to have her try out one of mine that is most like the Lady so she can decide if she even wants to try one.

Of course, any other tips from the ladies on creams, soaps, brushes, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

A Lady Gillette shaves like a Super Speed but a touch more mild. I like my black handle SS, but the Lady was to mild for my tastes. I hear the blue knot SS had the same head, but as I have not had one I cant say for sure.

When I got my GF a starter setup, she seemed to like the smooth blades that were not overly sharp. Gillette 7oclocks are her current favorites, out of her portion of a couple DE samplers I have lingering around. As for a brush, mine said the softer the better and gladly requisitioned my Ve-Long horse hair brush. Granted she has only tried a couple things, but that is one opinion just over one month in.

I'm no expert, but I believe the Lady is a very mild razor with a long handle. It's significantly longer than my FI's Merkur 34c. Perhaps a Progress set on 1 or 2? I shave with KMF shaving cream. Any brush you have should be good. I don't need a brush that helps my leg hairs stand up and I find that anything is good for the FI's face is fine for my legs. Make sure she does a proper pre-shave prep (like take a hot shower).

Basically the same head as a slim twist. Shave feels like a super speed. Quite a nice razor to use actually.
