Okay people.
Due to the high quality of Semogue boar brushes and to popular demand, state you opinion on which kind of hair the next Limited Edition Semogue should have.

I voted horse, too. Semogue does magic things with boar hair and they got me to abandon my more expensive badger brushes in favor of their boar. I want to see if they can do the same thing with horse hair!

Why no option for synthetic?

I've heard talk of a black boar bristle knot. I'd be down for that.

Ah! The heavily-rumored Black Iberian. I'd definitely be down for one of those; likely, I'd prefer a smaller size.

And I'd be up for a horse hair brush too. As per the 2009 thread, options for a boar OR a horse knot would be fantastic, probably spurring me to buy one of each.

I have a couple of brushes with mixed hair which I believe is boar and horse, and they are just a bit too stiff and scratchy in my opinion - so my vote goes to boar.

I voted Horse because I dont have a horse hair brush and a nice one would be a welcome addition to the brush stable.

I'd be in for a Boar, Badger or Badger/Boar - I have yet to see anything to convince me that horse hair performs up to the standards better of the boar and badgers out there. It is my understanding that horsehair is mainly used in brushes for those that have ethical or religious issues with badger or boar.

It might be novel, but I'd want a special performing brush for the LE cash.

I must admit I'd probably buy a LE boar brush also (as well as what I voted for..Horse). That Black boar bristle sounds awesome!

Horsehair brushes were very common (even issued as part of US Army kit) until an anthrax scare in the 1910s caused people to favor boar and badger (and goat!). I've only just received a Vie-Long 13061 this afternoon but from playing with it it seems like a fine brush.

I voted for both boar and horse (not mixed).
