SE aquisition help

Hey guys I have an opportunity to acquire a SE but I need advice as to which one is the best shave/buy.

My choices are (all prices inc shipping and are in Aus dollars):
Gem 1912 w/ case (mint condition)-$40
Valet Auto-Strop (1950's, beyond mint w/ box and strop) -$60
Wilkinson Sword SE (comes with a strop but the case seems to be leather & reptile skin) -$90
Valet Auto-Strop (1930's, not mint but easily cleaned, comes with case- no strop) - $30

***all information given here is all the information I have received on these razors***
(I also have purchased a few vintage Gillettes, but one was listed as a SE, it's got a 6 sided handle with engraving all over it and is in mint condition, no idea what it is yet because it is yet to arrive but I didn't think Gillette made SE's?).

I never tried the Valet. There is a thread here (can't find the link at the moment) that explains all the differences between the models.
Check ebay because I have seen NOS Valet razors for about $40 a few months ago. These are not expensive razors.

The Wilkinson is a more of a "funky" novelty razor. There are two models, one that would accept SE blades as is, and one where you have to cut off the spine so they fit. The shave is nice but it is very head heavy and a bit awkward. I have mine because it is cool looking and make a nice addition for my collection. It better be in pristine condition, including a full compliment of blades in good shape for $90 (mine was $65 and it was mint).

The 1912 makes an excellent choice for a first SE razor. I would check ebay first because there are a ton of offerings out there at various conditions and prices. $40 is on the high side and it should be immaculate for such a price. My first 1912 razor (ever ready) was part of a 3 razor lot that was $6 on etsy. Now it was not the prettiest but it was not that bad either. A month later I bought a mint 1912 for $20, but without the case.
I would check b/s/t here and on other forums because these razors usually run at lower prices on the forums than on ebay, or even post a WTB thread.
In general, SE razors are built like tanks and have pretty heavy plating. They clean up really well and should last another century, easily.
There is also an ebay seller, ocrazorman, that offers replated razors, including SEs. I bought from him a rhodium replated razor and I am happy with it. It was ~$40 so keep it in mind.

The 1912 would be a no brainer choice. The best SE design in history of SE's.

When I bought my Every-Ready 1912 not too long ago, I paid USD21.50 and it was supposed to be never used with box. It had the box and was in very near mint condition, but it had been used. It took me 5 minutes to clean it and it looks in mint condition. Not sure what AUD40 converts to in USD, but, unless you are a collector and not just a shaver, I would be loathe to go much higher than I went. There are deals on very nice looking razors for much less than I paid for mine.

(Of your choices, I would also say the 1912. All time, it's the Streamline/Jewel.)

I see now that through Techichi's eBay page that all the razors I listed above are all rip offs.

Thanks for the help guys :D

Not on the 1912. A GEM 1912 in it's case in mint condition is easily worth $40 IMO. The rest, yeah probably not the best price you can find.
