SCS AS Splash vs AS Milk

1. Which is longer lasting?

2. Has the better/stronger scent?

3. Better for the skin?

Maybe I can help a bit here. Fragrance strength is generally the same whether splash or balm. This is in terms of % per pound or ounce. That is subject to a judgement call when a fragrance is particulaly strong.

The duration of AS fragrance is generally fleeting, a bonus of sorts. The job of an aftershave is to calm down your skin after shaving and leave it moisturized. A cologne or eau de toilette is best for long lasting fragrance.

What is best for someone with oily skin will not work for a dry skin type person.

If you are in the market for a new aftershave; determine your skin type. What specifically do you need an aftershave for. What should it do for you personaly? Fight razor burn, add moisture to dry skin, oily skin, etc....

Then read the descriptions and find one suitable. Don't buy an aftershave only because you like the fragrance.

An alcohol based splash would help temporairly with oiliness. Do not use a balm which adds a lot of moisture. Read the recommendations of the namufaturer. On the bright side, as you age oily skin doesn't show signs or aging as fast as dry skin.
