Scrubby brush

My first brush was a Parker 23mm ($25) which was fine, used it for about one year. Just got a Muhle synthetic (silvertip, 23mm, $85) which is noticeably scrubbier, and I love it. It really goes to town on those hard triple milled soaps, and needs less effort to whip up the creams. I have a dense thick beard and the Muhle picks up the whiskers and exfoliates extremely well.

Are there any other scrubby brushes out there worth a future purchase? Thanks!

The Vulfix 404 Grosvenor. A nice Badger/Boar mix that is very much the right amount of scritchy without being overkill. I also love Bullgoose Shaving's 2012 LE horse/badger mix. I use these two interchangeably because I too love a little scrubby behavior in my brushes.

Get a two band badger with a short loft. A TGN finest custom would be a good choice, as you could have the loft set extra short.

I have Lijun finest that is scrubby but not scratchy. It is very dense so it has a strong back bone but the tips are soft. I just wish the offered a fan shape. But it was only $20. I have TGN but it was to floppy for me, I wish I had the loft set shorter, my mistake.

I also have an Omega boar the is scrubby and has broken in nicely but the Lijun is scrubbier while have softer tips. I can recommend the Omega and Lijun both.

I am curious about the Shavemac DO1 two band but I am worried it will be too floppy.

floppy?? HAAA mine has a 47mm loft, and I assure u, NO ONE, in the history of shave brushes have ever called these stubbys ''floppy"check out royal shave, plus u get a 10 percent bandb disount too.
