Scrubbing Bubbles equivalent in OZ?

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what "scrubbing bubbles" is and if there is an equivalent product readily available in Australia?

Many thanks

Jase

I just use AG's tip. Line a suitable container with tin foil. Pour in some baking soda place the razor on top and cover with just boiled water. Stand well back and watch the beard come flying out:lol:

I think some members here in Oz use Dettol...

THanks fellas,

Well, I didn't really need it in the end.

I found a nice British Aristocrat Junior today at an antique store. I looked pretty well unused except for some grime on the handle. A 30min soak in dishwashing liquid and toothbrush and it came up shining!

I just shaved with it and WHAT A SHAVE! Fantastic :thumbup:

Cheers

I've got one of those still mint with the cardboard insert in it. I have been resisting the impulse to try it out, but... Now...

I was going to say USE IT! But, I think maybe they are not so hard to come by and you should be able to pick up a less than mint one for an everyday user.

Yours sound like a "safe queen":thumbup1:

I know i'm reviving an old thread here, but I reckon we need to find a scrubbing bubbles like thing in Australia.

I've done the aluminium foil trick and it's allright, but not perfect, even for not so gunked up razors.

I used a bathroom cleaner solution and worked wonders, the problem is it has bleach and sodium hydroxide, which are both strong, so I'm afraid it might damage the razors.

Any tips on anything similar?

Do you know what are the ingredients?
just curious to see whether theyre the same as the one I have.
