Score?

So I purchased a standard yellow coticule that measures 6" by 2" with a slurry stone. I was expecting to get a slate backed stone, but I think I actually got a combo. The slurry off the back side looks purple so I think that may honestly be the case.

That's good news on the coticule itself. How can you tell on the slurry stone? It looks exactly like the big one.

Talk about a fast cutter too. I'd been using my Chinese 12k as a finisher for a few months, but it would take me 100-200 laps to do the job. ~30 using just water on the coti brought the edge right back.

On my wapi which had a small abberation in the edge though, I followed Bart's unicot method and had a slick and sharp slicer in no time.:thumbup1:

It is the straight line between black and yellow that is tell tale. Often you can see some glue as well.
