Schwarzweisskeramik XL - a looker, but do you use it?

I've several scuttles, including a DB 1.5 and G5. The DB 1.5 is a lovely scuttle and functional, but unwieldy at times. Functionally, the G5 is a disappointment but I keep it around because it is beautiful and to ship it off the B/S/T would be expensive.

I've eyed the schwarzweisskeramik scuttles for some time, but obviously they are an investment, what with the shipping cost and relative weakness of the USD.

I'm contemplating the basic scuttle vs the "flagship" XL model. The XL model is a looker, to be sure, but I wonder: Among those of you that own it, do you use it that often? Did I read somewhere it is 2 kilos when full of water? Anyone have the basic scuttle or freestyle?

Any insight/comparison pics would be helpful.

From what I read....this is the scuttle of all scuttles..also as another option is a small lather dish for shaved or pressed soaps

I have the XL and love it. I had a DB 1.5 and liked it, but it doesn't compare to the German tank. I sold the DB and now solely use my black and white! I had a friend bring one back from Germany. Still, I believe it's well worth the investment, especially since the euro is at all time lows vs the US $.

I have the XL, love it and use it daily.
As this is my one and only scuttle I can not say it better than the others or not.
the large spout is great for dipping your brush to add more water inbetween passes.
