What's new

Say Hi

Why not? :/ I've only been wetshaving for 2-3 months, and the best shave I get is from my merkur 11C. It shave so much better then my 38C! And wihtout any irritation!

If I could only do one WTG pass, I'd reach for my 11C :) Way closer WTG then the 38C, and that makes the ATG go so much easier!

I regret to inform you that the Gillette open combs provide an outstanding shave. I thought I was done with my RAD, but after trying a Gillette Tuckaway recently, I am now on the hunt for another New Improved with a longer handle. I'm truly sorry to enable your RAD but if it's any consolation, I'm right there with you.

Enablers!

I bought a Gillette New OC from a fellow B&B member. Hopefully I'll be shaving with it by the end of the week. So I guess I lied, RAD has returned for one last time and the "blame" shall be divided among several enablers.

You did a great job, but RAD will not elude you, it takes all of our souls...

Soon you will be curious about GEMS and you will buy the 1912 and then you'll see the lather catchers...

...then...maybe you will be curious about straights, like I was, and then spend hundreds on razors..

Then you spend 500.00 on one Escher hone...

So you meet the HAD too..

And so it goes...

I tried the GEM and luckily I didn't like the razor. But I am really worried about the Straights. They're very appealing and very expensive.
