I started str8 razor shaving for the "cool" effect...and there is no denying that it is the coolest way to shave. I tried to convince my wife that it was cost effective also...well for me once I started purchasing str8 razors...I can't stop!! So be forewarned that it might not be the most "cost effective" way to shave but it sure as hell is the coolest! YMMV!
