What's new

Sandalwood....mmmmmm.

So I got my first DE from The English Store and it came with a sample of Jagger sandalwood AS balm. Wow, I've never really payed attention to sandalwood before and would love to get a nice balm. However, I'm needing to find it for a cheaper price. I saw the Bigelow Red Elixir online and was wondering if it was comparable.

See if Sue at SCS has anything. Her SCS aftershave splash is wonderful. I don't see a balm/milk on the website right now, but it's worth checking on. AoS Sandalwood balm is nice too. If you do think about a splash, maybe Harris? Very interesting sandalwood fragrance.

Charismata's soap of the month Seanfhear Gallunach mentions Sandalwood first in its list of scents.. it's on sale right now 'til it's out for $5 a puck. (I don't know if this vendor lists scents in order of strength, by the way)

You've probably already heard a bit about Charismata's soaps, but if you're looking for a tallow based soap versus a glycerin based soap, I recommend them for their size (5 oz!), scent, and price!!!

"Sandalwood" scents are so different and all across the spectrum. I purchased the EJ sandalwood cream, soap, and balm because I loved the scent of my cream sample. If you like the balm's scent you will love the cream.

I checked SCS but no sandalwood balm. I wish there was because I would order it along with some bay rum with a twist. Maybe next time.

I did not know about Charismata but I'll check it out next time I need soap. I already have some on the way.

Just got an e-mail from SCS: they are coming out with a Sandalwood balm soon (will be listed under their Limited Edition section). Sue's balms are great, so I am waiting for this one. But, the Ed Jagger balms are also super!

Yeah, I just talked to Sue about that yesterday. I'm looking forward to it. I know the Jagger balm is nice but it's cost prohibitive for me at this point.
