I really want to try some different blades. I don't know where to start. I really want to try some feathers but I've heard some scary reviews about them. Also quick side note, I recommend that everyone try cold water shaving. It's an awesome experience

bullgooseshaving.com and westcoastshaving.com both have great sample packs available. Don't be afraid of the Feathers they might work wonders for you, they are reallllllly sharp so just take your time, no pressure, easy peasy. I love trying new blades, you just never know when you'll find that perfect blade.

as a side note, next time i shave i'll try cold water shaving. i've been hearing way to much about it lately to not give it a go

Feathers are only scary because they are super sharp. Once you get "seasoned" you find they are really sweet. First time I used them I felt like I shaved the first layer of skin off my face which is probably true! While others might, I don't recommend then to brand new DE shavers as there are so many other good choices.

Don't be afraid of the Feathers. They're made to be used, not feared. Just treat them as you would any super sharp thing, go slow, and you'll be fine.
