What's new

Saint Sue G3 Eagle's 1st shave.

BigFoot

I need a flea bath
I used the Eagle for the 1st time this morning. WOW! I will be killed for this but I lathered up some Williams and it ate it like candy. I normally struggle lathering Williams not today.

It was soft, luxurious, yet firm. I am in love.:001_tt1: What will happen when it breaks in?:biggrin1:

The only disappointing thing is when I rinsed it to put it away, 1/2 the gold came off the letter L on the word Eagle. I hope it does not keep shedding letters.

My Eagle did the same thing. It lost color on 2 or 3 letters and then seemed to stabilized. I think I have read of people using clear nail polish to seal on the stickers, I'm assuming it would work just as well for the paint.

+1 I have a Simpson Tulip with the clear nail polish on it and the label has stayed intact.

I do not have one of these brushes but I use clear nail polish to seal in the paint on the words "Cleveland" and the number on the bottom of my golf clubs. I have also changed the colors to blue #'s and resealed them. This process works very well. For the clubs I can use steel wool to remove the excess but I would advise you to be very cautious about using it on the brush handle so as not to have excess (I don't think it would stand up to steel wool so well). Good luck!

It is the only brush I have that I could lather Williams. The Eagle eats soap as a midnight snack...

As for breakin... the brush only gets better :thumbup::thumbup:

Good to hear that the Eagle has a happy home! I love mine and I'm looking forward to using it to help destroy the remains of my Tabac puck after the Duke Chronicles have finished.
