Safety Razor Engraving?

So I got this bright idea to pass out safety razors when my little girl is born sometime in July. I thought it might be nicer than handing out traditional cigars. To commemorate the occasion, I would like to have my kid's name engraved on the head along with the birth month and year.

Are there places that will engrave a DE razor?

If a razor won't work, then perhaps a brush?

Hmmm....maybe even a store like "things remembered"...the are in most malls...maybe even a trophy shop?? Good lucks and congrats!!! My daughter was born in July.....July the 9th....21 years ago!!

Going to the jewelers is probably the way to go for engravings or acid sketching.

congrats! dont forget that if they engrave your razor it will have to go threw the plating, that is if it's plated.
if you were to engrave and it was plated i would fill it in with some black paint or nail polish.

Thanks for all of the well wishes. I will have to give a jewelry store a call and see what they offer. Too bad Tiffany's doesn't make a DE. I suppose I could just have some custom boxes made for the razors instead of having the razors engraved. That way I could I order online if needed.
