Safety Razor cleaning

So my s/o used to make jewelry and she uses something called "e z est super dip". Have any of you heard of it? I've seen the results when she polishes her jewelry and the outcome is great and you don't have to actually do much except let it sit. I've asked her if it was ok to use it on my razors but she said she's not sure if it's alright to be used on plated pieces. If any has heard of this product I'd appreciate any feedback, It's pretty strong stuff and I don't want to try it and it melts off all the plating on my razors. It would be unfortunate. She also uses something called a sunshine cloth which I use to give my razors a quick polish. It's just a piece of cloth you rub on it and it polishes in the process, it's quick and easy in between major jobs.
