Restoring a DE's bright shine.

I was just wondering if its ok to use metal polish (tarn x, weiman, brassso) on a DE? I just got a Gillette Superspeed that needs some cleaning up.

Try Scrubbing bubbles and a toothbrush... spray the razor and let it sit about 5 minutes then use the toothbrush and give it a good scrubbing with that... rinse and repeat as needed.

Scrubbing bubbles and toothbrush is all I use. But to each their own.
