Replated NEW from West Coast Razors

Happy Saturday everyone. Just had to post some pics of my first replate...a Gillette New Short Comb. Dave from West Coast Razors did this in Rhodium and it turned out fantastic (thanks Dave!!). Looks great with the EJ 89L handle but I prefer heavier ones so I'll be using it with a bulldog. Enjoy and pardon my rookie photography (specs are just lint from a microfiber cloth)....

I'm wondering the same thing. That's a beautiful replate! I have an old Gillette head that I have been wanting to get replated.

Dave sent me a message last week that my Fatboy would be finished and sent out. I had him plate the razor in Rhodium and I cannot wait to have my first ever shave with a Gillette Fatboy razor. I was hoping to get it this weekend, but it will be after Monday as it is Columbus Day.

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention I just had the head replated (and not the handle). Maybe that's why...
