Replacing a j bar in Esterbrook

I got the shellac, I got the sac, I got the talc and finally I got the time to sit down and replace the sac on my eBay esterbrook.
Only to find that the J bar rusted and broke. Back to the drawing board, or rather back to Anderson pens....

Got a question on measurement . My j bar appears to just under five cm long, but the only two sizes I see are 54 and 62mm. Are these measured from one end all the way round the bend to the other end?
That would be about 62mm if I add the two bits together.

Id email and ask which one you need. I need to get a J-Bar myself. unfortunately i found that while the pen i was going to give my girlfriend had a good sac, the J-Bar was in two pieces when i opened it up.

on the plus side, I attached the sac to the section last night, and today couldn't resist testing.
Writes beautifully with the Parker blue ink I have.
Ended up ordering two 62 mm j bars.
Got a feeling this isn't my last Esterbrook restore....
