I bought a Gillette Tech off ebay, but it seems the lacquer is coming off. I see this flaky orange material that peels off easily. Should I relacquer the razor before I use it? If so, how do I go about this and what type of lacquer do you suggest? Thanks.

I am interested to know as well !!
I just go a head and sterilize it then use it. I've had a few like that and haven't had any problems using them. The razor is in good shape and I've had no issues with the plating flaking or coming off.
