So I had this Triumph brush from Czechoslovakia.
It was originally a trimmed flat top boar brush... Basically a broom and it shed like crazy.
I first reknotted it with a 20mm boar brush from another vintage brush... was a nice scrubby knot, but also shed like crazy.
Here's try two... a 19mm Pure badger knot from a Duke 1. Set at 40mm... Gives nice lather and has decent backbone... the prickle of Pure badger at this low loft is definitely there, but I don't mind.
