Recommended Loft for 24mm Elite Manchurian White Bulb?

Is there a recommended loft for an Elite Razor 24mm Manchurian White bulb knot? I am back to mostly bowl lathering, but do like to face lather on occasion. I have seen a rule of thumb calling for 2:1 for bulbs, but didn't know how the Manchurian hair might affect that.

That reminds me. I did ask Bob a few days ago and he got back to me despite being out of the shop. He sets these knots at 50mm.
