My wife and I are both very happy about hiking, especially in great nature. We were thinking about taking a long weekend (Thurs - Mon maybe) to Hawaii in the beginning of December. Would anyone have good suggestions on where to go or maybe even where to look for good deals?

Kauai has some excellent trails. Take a look at http://www.trails.com/toptrails.aspx?area=10015.
There so much to see in Hawaii. When I used to travel there on business I would stay over the weekend and just explore.

I will second the Kauai recommendation. Lots of nature to see there. In fact, I'm going there shortly.
