Recognizing a Double Arrow (Golden Dollar) razor?

Hello,

I'd like to buy one or two of this razors, to learn honing. How can I tell a Double Arrow (Golden Dollar) razor, since there are no inscriptions on the blade? Should I ask the seller for a photo of its case?

Well...normally people don't pass them off as anything else so.... Its not exactly something we've had to worry about so far.

I wouldn't worry about it. Most unmarked razors turn out to be fantastic. Those that look like DA's, probably are DAs. But even then...nothing particularly wrong with them unless you pay too much.

Looks like a DA. And in the absence of any other manufacturer of "high quality straight razors" from China, I'm inclined to say its a DA.

That's a Double Arrow razor. They come in different styles and that is one of them.
