Recent restore.Problem?

It certainly doesn't look similar to one of mine
This is a 20 mm knot, as set it measures 21 x 50 mm.
Check your packing slip. This knot was listed as
1 x 20 Finest Badger Knot Fan XH 20MM-FINEST-FAN
I realize that the two knots are not the same, but the shape should be similar and he probably uses the same format to describe and control his inventory.

Yep, that would be it tomcj2. The invoice said it was a Fan, and on the bottom of the brush it said sbf. I emailed TGN, but I'm not sure what can be done now. I set the knot lower than I would have for a bulb, so I am not happy to say the least. I used silicone like i normally do, but after only 3 hours the knot is in there pretty good. I tugged and twisted and am not having any luck.

The same brush with elastic bands on it to mimic the same bloom as yours

Well, as unfortunate as it is that that knot appears to be the wrong one, I'd have to say that from the picture the loft is just right. Who knows? Maybe it will be a happy accident!
