Real Shave Company

I got a little rushed the other day on my ATG pass with straight razor and ended up with a little razor burn on neck. Didn't feel uncomfortable but looked really bad. So on the way into work stopped in Rite Aid hoping to find something to calm it down. (I don't usually do anything other than a cold water splash for my post shave.)

Found a tube of Real Shaving Company post-shave lotion that had a classy looking package and was made in England (Sadly, it seems most of the better shave stuff comes from outside the USA.) Figured give it a try because I had nothing to lose really.

Well, I was very pleased with it. Soothed the irritation dramatically and much to my pleasure does not have much of any noticeable smell. (A lot of colognes and whatever really bother my sinuses/allergies.) Best of all it was not greasy or oily feeling which is often a problem.

So, if your looking an inexpensive post-shave lotion (think it was about $4) that works well, you should try out this product.

I'm a Proraso-man myself but I may try the shave cream too. (Once I use up my current tube of Proraso and the two tubes I just ordered on Sunday.)

Both the Real Shaving Co. cream and aftershave both are very good products indeed. The aftershave is similar to Nivia aftershave balm.

I read it somewhere that they are a famous make rebranded, and its quite often in the pound shops around here.
