Razors by metal type

Does anyone know of a source that provides information on the base and finish metals for various vintage DE razors? Seems like there has to be something out there, but I can't seem to find it.

I think the wiki is pretty good for finishes, though not comprehensive. The default finish is nickel plate, and the base metal usually only comes up when it is not brass.
