I had a few RazoRock products and so when I saw there was a thread challenging people to use a RazoRock product for an entire month, called RazoRocktober, I though what the heck - let's give 'er a go.
While participating I heard that Joe decided to reduce the price of an aftershave called Baby Blue. I must admit I am a bit of an all around AD person right now, so I immediately made some purchases.
Here is my review of RazoRock's Baby Blue:
This product was delivered quite well - wrapped in enough bubble wrap to protect a small chachki from a baby thinking it's a bouncy ball. It also had some kind of plug in the hole so that it wouldn't leak during shipment. Great shipping practices!!
I also purchased the floid atomizer that works with this bottle. The bottle, by the way, is a large 400ml GLASS bottle. I love having the glass bottle, as I would like to move all my a/s to glass bottles instead of the plastic bottles they come in now. The atomizer worked flawlessly with the bottle. It truly is a fantastic bottle.
I have been using the aftershave for the past week or so. I think it smells pretty darn good!! I am very bad at describing scents, but I will give it my best shot.
To me the smell has a pretty strong baby powder type smell - especially when you first put it on. It does seem to quickly dissipate into a citrus smell with a baby powder background - see I told you I am not good at describing scents.
I have oily skin, so I am always torn over weather to use an aftershave with some kind of moisturizer, or even an after shave balm. I found that the aftershave dried down and didn't leave my skin all greasy or tacky. This was a huge score for me. The scent doesn't have a super long staying power, like clubman, but it does stay around for a while, which again for me was a nice bonus.
All-in-all, I have been pleasantly surprised with the RazoRock Baby Blue aftershave. Moreover, the price of $19.99, for 400ml, puts this aftershave as a huge bargain in my book.
