razor identity help

kk so i got this from my grandpa today .. is a bit in a bad shape (sitting for 15 years doing nothing)

so going top left to right with the markings:

Marca Regisi Pat NO 36057 ( with a single little 3 under that)

bottom:
dimond logo i guess Gillette is written inside and an arrow goes tru the letters .. IND BRASLIERIA

its a TTO (still new to the terms hehe) u turn the bottom and two wings open up to drop the blade in.

any tips of cleaning it (i will check hte wiki as well) it has some patina (green) on it .. i see some rust hope is not that bad and some chipping .. i hope after cleaning it will be at least usable.

Your thoughts? will try to pop a picture in latter

Here are the pictures .. i did some initial cleaning so all the gunk is out, will need some polishing for sure coz there are some blemishes on it .. and one of the doors had some rust so i had to be a bit more destructive there and file some off the plating as well as it can be seen. So now there is some yellow poking tru on few places that are no longer nickle (i guess) plated and the bronze (i guess) pokes tru.

Anything i need to be worried about? everything looks peaty much aligned to me ..

yeah they bout look pretty much the same .. one thing i noticed the T3 misses one horizontal groove at the top compared to the B1 (and mine) .. but since bout are Mono-Tech that works for me so i can have a name to put to the razor :)

too bad grandpa didn't have the box .. maybe then it wold have been in better shape .. will test it in the morning how it will perform compared to my current wilkinson classic

i was looking tru the forum .. so whats the difference between the mono-tech and super-speed? the weight? and umm super-speeds have plastic handles?

and thanks

From what I understand and know Superspeeds were made in the US, UK and Canada. None of the superspeeds were made with plastic. Obviously the weight will very where made.

Any where else it is still a "superspeed" per-say but it also has a its own name like the Mono-Tech.

The profile looks the same to me but I never owned own so looks could be deceiving.

Maybe someone with more information on the Mono Tech can chime in.

my bad about the handles then .. i read so much and all ends up mushed at the end :) i know there was some talk about aluminium instead of normal so i connected the non-aluminium whit plastic i guess .. instead of brass
