Razor ID - Old Open Comb 3 piece

Hello All,

I had a burning desire to try out an open comb razor - and I found this old guy on ebay. The seller called it a German Gillette clone. I can find no markings on it. It came with a box that seems to fit, and is marked "Germany". It also had some empty old Gillette Blade wrappers. Any clues on this one?

Looks like an old type but I never saw that handle before... Teeth look good

Thanks for the info guys. I was hoping to find out a little more. That double ball end seems pretty distinctive. Maybe I will take a look at some razor resources.

Seems like there were many different razors made in Germany that were never marketed in the US. Cooncatbob has posted here before about a German razor forum that he visits - You probably could pm him for the link because I couldn't find his post about it - but anyway they may have more info on your razor.

Thanks - I sent a pm to CoonCatBob - and he sent me the forum. It is in german, so posting there will be a little trickier.

I didn't like the shave, so I am probably going to sell it, but based on these responses it isn't anything too special.
