Razor handles - should we compile a list?

Well, I am trebly happy today.

First, I discovered that my Gillette New short comb has the wider recess in the baseplate and my Toro Mastiff handle fits without problems. I shaved that way this morning - same great shave, felt weird due to the handle's weight and that I had a secure grip the entire time. :001_rolle

Second, my Gillette Goodwill and 7 O' Clock British New long comb both are in! And both looks like they would take a wide variety of handles due to the recess width on the Goodwill and that the 7 O' Clock has a flat plate which would take just about anything with the right threading, I'd think.

Third, I found 2 Pearl razors on ebay which I bought for the handles - the weird swirly blue acrylic one and the more traditional SSH-01 (I really like the reverse swirling atop the regular swirling design). Buy now for both! So glad I don't have to bid and wait and "snipe well or be sniped."

So . . . a long preamble to my main point. We, or at least I, are always looking out for functional and/or aesthetic handles to customize our razors. Should we put a reference list together?

[moved list]

Aside from vintage handles, it doesn't seem like there are many options aside from the first several or cannibalizing a cheaper (or not!) razor for parts.

Thoughts?

List moved here and will keep updated, at least for now:

Bob's Razor Works
Above the Tie
Weber
Ikon
Matador/Pearl/Cadet/Razorock/Maggard/Sabi (some overlap between these)

What do you mean by overlap?

Some of the handles from a given vendor match those from a different vendor. The open comb heads are identical between these vendors and, I believe, the closed combs as well.

Example: RazoRock Little Bastone handle is also available from Pearl (SSH-01), I believe

Great idea. We need photos.

The best I can tell, the iKon Bulldog, and the Weber Bulldog are absolutely identical. Same machine shop? Are they done with computer programs these days? If they are absolutely the same, are Webers really American made (not that I really care, but an important sales and marketing point).

Photos would indeed be nice, but that's 1) a ton of work, 2) potentially copyright infringement, and 3) would result in a huge thread considering that Pearl has over 20 handles alone.

That's my rationalization of my laziness, and I'm sticking to it!

Edit: Parker added (65, 95). Keep in mind that the Parker 65 has different models - gold or silver for the part on the black handle.

I thought you already had a Goodwill and an English 7 O'clock? That part threw me so much I need to go back and read the rest of your post.

Sorry for the confusion - I do have a Goodwill and an English 7 O' Clock!

The list is more of a generic "I want to buy a new handle for my razor, so what modern handles are out there" list.
