Razor Blade Wrapper Collection Pics

I stumbled on an site with a large collection of old razor blade wrappers and just thought I might share it here:

I'm not sure if it is from the same source but here is a link to another gallery:

A few of the wrappers also expand on the "Do not wipe" message often seen on a wrapper. The meaning of which is often debated as to whether it is a danger warning or just about caring for the edge of the blade. This is the first time I have seen the full explanation given so it was a nice find.

Do not wipe the blade as it can cause damage to the edges

I mounted a modest selection of modern and vintage DE blades in the wrapper in a small picture frame, with black felt as a backing. I've gotten several compliments on it from visitors to the humble TG domicile.

I wonder if he is still doing it? It seems that us B&Bers could put together a box of blades he doesn't have... Just a thought.

That’s a nice idea. I have sent him an email requesting information as to how many more wrappers he would need to enter the Guinness book of world records. I would certainly do my best to be of assistance if it is an achievable target.. I'm sure we could get a few others on board.

I will post a follow up if I receive any more info.
