Random Barber Shop (23rd st NYC)

They had this is the storefront window... thought it was pretty cool, didn't care about the people looking at me like I was a freak for snapping pictures :lol:

I'd love for my barber to sell wet shaving supplies. Wouldn't be that hard. Maybe pick a couple DE's, a couple brushes, some soaps, aftershaves, and blades.

My barber shop has been around for 120 years, oldest in the state. Very old school. Wet shaving would fit right in.

Actually, he does have a few DE's and some aftershaves over the sink, but not for sale.

Where is that? 23rd St runs East to West completely across the borough, covering the area we refer to as Europe to California.
 
Not sure exactly, but it is somewhere between 5th and 7th... I was just passing by on my way to a jobsite.

They only display old shaving gear in the window. I'm pretty sure that they don't sell any shaving products.

They do offer shaves with a shavette, with either Derby or what look like German Wills, both packaged as saloon blades.

they have a sign on the top that says they sell brushes... :blink:
