Yet another boxer murdered recently. I only knew of Vernon Forrest through his boxing, which of course he was very good at and was the first man to defeat Shane Mosley. After his passing I also learned he was very much into charity work and helped start numerous organizations. Apparently he was killed during a robbery attempt. Very sad news.

Very sad indeed...he was a great boxer and a great person. 
Crazy. I never knew of the 'nicer' side of him, but I always thought he was a skilled fighter. Sad to hear it.

There's some promising leads. The bad guys are gonna get caught.
