I remember watching the Road Warriors in the early-mid '80's, when they were working in the National Wrestling Alliance. IIRC, their entrance song was 'Iron Man', by Sabbath.
Their Skyscraper matches were utterly insane for the time. Hard to believe that they were only 10 years older than me.
Spent many evenings watching them, The Fabulous Freebirds, the Rat Patrol, Dusty Rhodes, Rick Flair, Paul Orndorff, JYD, and so many more before the WWE gobbled up all the regional territories. Back when the Von Erichs were in Tx, with Jake the Snake..

That's too bad. He was still a young guy. Weren't he and his partner also called 'The Legion of Doom?'

People can say what they will about pro wrestling, but at least it's never had a betting scandal.

Yes.

They were the Road Warriors ... and then when they went to WWF about 1990 they got the LOD monicker but also kept “road warrior” as well.

As a teenager, I grew up enjoying watching the Road Warriors. Thanks for the entertainment
