R-160 vs Cella which do you perfer?

Looking for a X-mas gift for a gal who likes a almond scent. Which one would you suggest? I have tried Cella (red tub) but never tried the R-160. Which one smells and performs better Cella or R-160? As always YMMV.

I like Cella a little bit better. They are both good Italian soaps. The scents are also similar to me.

If you mean the Cella in the small red tub (as opposed to the one kilo brick), I would have to say that I prefer the R-160. For me it is not the difference in scent but the performance of the R-160 is a bit more to my liking. The one kilo brick that I just received shows more promise.

Well, I would have to go with R-160. Only because when I use Cella I get the Cella burn. Something in it irritates my skin. It is a shame because I love the soap so much. I still use it about once a month, because I love the scent and performance so much. I keep hopping that if I let it air out enough, the irritant will weaken so I will not have the burn. No such luck so far.

Unfortunately, nobody else's experience can tell you whether the gift recipient will like/dislike either of these or any soaps. As a baseline, they're both excellent soaps--I myself mainly use Cella out of 20+ soaps, followed by Razorock XXX--but much of the fun, and risk, of DE shaving is that it's always YMMV. P.160 was discontinued, but Joe at Italian Barber introduced R-160.
