I'm currently breaking in a No48 and was wondering how many forum-members have bought one and then moved on to another brush (not counting for travel of course) and why.
Quick survey of Omega users please?

Ah! Obviously none. I can be pleased at my choice then! 
I'm not sure which model Omega I have. All I can tell you is that after I tried using it the first time, I never went back to my Tweezerman badger. I use the Omega every day.
This is what I use. The first week was not so good, but it has been an excellent brush since I shampooed and blowdried it. I feel no need to buy another kind of brush.
The Omega 48 is nice brush, but I am not the biggest fan of the loft (hair) height. If the loft was about 10mm shorter this would be a really great brush, in my book.
The Omega Professional "Paint Brush" - Excellent mug lathering brush for hard soaps.

I have one. It's nice, and I do like it, but I would actually LOVE it if it was a bit more stout. I pretty much only use it for soaps. I have a Silvertip that I flop around with creams.
I have a 48,I found it great with creams but almost useless with MWF soap
I had one, which I really liked - but as soon as I got my hands on a 100098 I passed the 48 on.

I've got a 49 that has put a serious dent in my Rooney 1/1 super's game time. The Omega is easier with glycerin soaps by far. It lathers hard soaps faster than the Rooney too! Haven't tried it with creams yet... I have a BK4 for that.

I find that interesting. Is it only the 48 which seems unsuited to it? Ok with all your others?
I don't have a big selection to choose from..a Kent BLK 4 and a small badger brush made by B&B member Rudy Vey,these work great with MWF.
It could be just me,the 48 is fine with creams and MWF is the only soap I used with it,I just can't get them to work together.

Hmm. I could be wrong. Is the No.48 the chromed-out one? Mine works well for soaps and has the chrome handle.
Hah. I've got a 49 which I love, and just ordered a Rooney 1/1 Super as a treat. I hope I don't end up kicking myself!
You'll love the Rooney. I think I'm the odd man out.
I have a 48 and use it once in a while, whenever I feel like diving into lather!
