just a quick question on paste. I have just started trying to shave with straight razor and I made a strop based on the ruprazor paladin design with red latigo ond canvass webbing. I got a package of paste that came with a black paste that is fine, which I applied to the latigo strop(smoothe side). I was wondering if I should put the coarser red paste on the canvass strop or on the back side(rough side) of the latigo?
