A friend from England is coming to see us for a couple of weeks and will arrive Friday. It would be nice to have a comprehensive sampler order arriving or already on hand but I need to get it ordered. Where are the best and most varied sampler packs and who is speediest on shipping? Would enjoy gather a large selection of blade brands and variants.
I went overboard and picked up 200 Feathers almost two years ago. I like Feathers in some of the accumulated razors; not so much in others. I've also kept other brands on hand for use in some razors. I'm running low on everything but Feathers and would like to have another go-round with various blades now that a couple years of improved technique is under my belt.
I started out my shaving career in 1969 with a cast off Fatboy (didn't call it that back then) but never learned a thing about effective technique when using it. It was gleefully thrust into the back of a bathroom drawer in favor of Trac II sometime around 1978-1980. Only revisited double-edged razors again two years ago this month.
