question on scented alum

hi,

i remember long back at the barber shop he used 2 use a scented alumn block as After shave.

i hv been trying 2 look on ebay but couldnt find any such.

anyone has any idea on this ? also someone told me can scent our own alum block.. any reference to this how to do it ?
