question on gillette blue tip?

I won a blue tip off of the bay......only prob is I now see that it is a flare tip. did they make blue tips in the flare version? if not ill be sending that crap back. thanks for your responses gents

The only blue tip Gillette ever made was indeed a flare-tip. It sounds like you've got exactly what you bargained for.

Hi,

The Blue Tip SS is aluminum and very light weight and a very mild shave. All were flare tip as far as I know.

Sounds like you should be golden to me. It took me forever to find a Blue Tip in the wild, but I'm glad I did. They're great, easy drivin' shavers.
