QCS aftershave balm is spectacular

I got the QCS key lime aftershave balm, and I am delighted with it. The ingredients are top-notch, natural ones. The soothing and healing properties rival those of any aftershave I've used. Finally, the scent is the most natural I've smelled in an aftershave. I'm from Florida, and my parents grow key limes in their backyard, so I know what key limes smell like. This scent kicks Castle Forbes' regular lime to the curb, as far as naturalness is concerned.

So, which scents should I buy next?

I use the lavender and celestial woods balms and I agree that they are awesome....very moisturizing imo. Both scents are very natural smelling. Celestial woods starts out mostly with a cedar note but then you get hit with the greens underneath.

I prefer the Razorock Waxes when it comes to moisturizing properties.

In general you prefer them when it comes to moisturizing properties, or you prefer them specifically over the QCS balms when it comes to moisturizing properties? QCS "feels" much more moisturizing to me on application. Not even close. But my understanding is that moisturizers really prevent water loss from the skin through evaporation, later in the day. I have no information on which product really works better for that, in the long run.

This is one product I'd hate to be without. I have Vostok, Key Lime, and a custom unscented. Vostok is pretty fun. Nice natural peppermint smell and so cold on the face it's just slightly shy of painful! The unscented is the one I use the most often I guess, because of course, it goes with everything.

I have Key Lime, Vostok, Esquire, and a custom chamomile- the last being my favorite. They are the best balms I have ever used.

I've got 2 custom scented ASB's from QCS. I absolutely love this stuff. I try to alternate it with my other balms. RR R160, EJ Seabuck, etc..

My custom scents are Lemon Pomegranate and A Cella style Almond.

They last for months.

I use my QCS Vostok for travel. Awesome ASB.

I use Hydrolast for my daily balm. The only thing I have tried that is better than the QCS. The hydrolast will apparently spoil eventually, so I leave it in the fridge. I love the cool feel when I put it on.

how long do these last? 1oz for $10 doesn't seem like much.

I can't say how long, cuz I've only been using it for a couple of weeks. I use 3 pumps, and I probably over do it just a bit. I originally felt like it was overpriced, but when you look around at other balms like Castle Forbes, Trumpers Skin Food, Gentelman's Refinery, etc. it's pretty reasonable. It's also nice to only have to spend $10 to try a scent instead of $40. I do wish they offered a large size as an option though.

I can't even use a whole pump when I apply this balm, have to kind of carefully work out a half pump. At this rate on 3 bottles I'll never use up what I have before it spoils.

well this is some great info. i'll likely try it based off what i've read so far.

I was lucky enough to be one of the testers for this and the one Matthew sent us was not marked and we were not told about the scent (but I'm pretty sure it was the Key Lime). It was incredible and so little went so far.

my little beta-testing jar was supposed to last 7 days and it lasted a good 2 weeks of daily use.

I will be adding a balm of 2 to my next QCS order, once I decide which creams I want.

half a pump... it'll last forever. I have the Vostok and the Esquire. Esquire scent is my favorite so far... Vostok menthol is really fun. I like the face freeze a lot. The scent of the Vostok just kind of makes me laugh. I smell, briefly, like a peppermint patty. I don't mind because it is fleeting; it would bug me if that stayed with me too long.

Still my favorite aftershave by a mile! So soothing for my skin, and I still love the key lime scent (so much that I haven't tried any others yet). I think that, after the QCS, just about anything would be a letdown for me.
