Just a quick question about pyrate cove soaps. I have seen them mentioned briefly in other threads but does anyone know quite a bit about them? They were so cost effective that I picked up a cake of the original bay rum just to try it. Are they good or what? Can anyone maybe post a video on them using pyrate cove soaps or maybe a video covering a little bit about them? Information on them is very scarce. Thank you for stopping in and reading my post!

I purchased it because I'm just about running out of my Colonel Conk bay rum, heard the name on other threads, saw the price and thought to myself "for this price, why not"
I bought Menthol, Cucumber/Melon and Mandarin. I tried Menthol this morning and it was wonderful. Thick, creamy lather with a nice Menthol bit to it. For the money, it is a bargain!
I just purchased their Bay Rum, figured at $4 it is a fairly inexpensive way to see what the Bay Rum scent is like.
I personally have never heard of them! I pick my soaps up at TJ Maxx. I find you can get some pretty high end bath soap at a good discount!
So, have you used the Pyrate yet? You tell us, is it good??
Picked up three pucks for 14 incl shipping. Insane prices. Lathered up a couple of them right after I got them, produced a nice thick slick lather. Looking forward to shaving with it tomorrow.
Didn't take long to build up the lather either. Just swirled for 20-30 secs max and had plenty on there. The pucks are really slick on the outside, not sure if thats the product or was the condensation. Really good stuff though from the lather tests at least.
Bought coconut, bay rum, and sandalwood. The coconut smells amazing. The other two had fairly similar scent's though I only lathered one and smelled the other through the package so I might be incorrect on that.
Overall an amazing deal. Will let you know how the shave turns out.
