FYI, I believe that razor is a bit uncommon. Most of the English News are flat bottom or raised flat bottom. I have a couple just like yours.

I would do this in a heartbeat but my US Short Comb is red brass and this boy don't want a two color razor.

A two-toned short comb all spiffed up in red brass and gold/yellow brass is sexy!

Mine came in a shipper like this one....only difference is the made in England stamp and the pat nos etched in the handle at the bottom.

Depends on which side of the big lake you reside. I found plenty of British LCs here but only two US LCs.

Quick question, I saw a new open comb vintage gillette and in the box it came with 2 OC plates. Does anyone know why it came w 2 plates unless one has a different gap or one is just a spare plate?
