Pure badger fans?

I picked up a Omega Midghty Midget mixed boar/pure badger ad really like it. I have a Semogue, B&B Essentials and a few TGN Finest and nothing can load as efficiently as the Mighty Midget!

Does anyone else prefer Pure Badger as their daily driver? They seem ideal for bowl lathering an then paintbrush application.

How is the TGN Pure?

Thanks fellas. Feedback welcome. I know the majority of people prefer best, super and silvertip but want to hear about the lowly pure.

They load soaps incredibly well.

I actually reach for the pure badger I have more than any other brush. Loads soaps well. Not too much scritch as I set the loft a little high at 52mm, and good flow through. It is in my least favorite handle, too. I think I use it more to preserve my finest knots for future use!

My 24mm Finest came in yesterday. I forgot how awesome they are at a high loft; definitely not going so low on this next one.

I am very pleased with one of my earlier brushes given to me by a good friend about two years ago. It’s a Colonel Conk 850 pure badger (about 22mm knot).

I am a wuss and can't handle anything more than the slightest hint of scritch which rules out pure badger for me. I am even going to be getting rid of my own mixed mighty midget as it is just on the cusp of being too scritchy, what pushes my decision to sell it over the edge is that the wide waste boar brush is about the same size and much gentler on my skin.

I would like to knot where I could pick up a pure badger knot in a fan shape, I remember the days when I began wet shaving with a junky Parker pure badger brush and the scritch it had. Some days, I wish I had it back, lol.

I have a Simpsons Special Pure Badger and I love it. I also have a Whipped Dog Black Badger in my regular rotation. I'm jot quite sure if the latter qualifies as Pure Badger. But I also have a WD Silvertip and a WD Synthetic that are in my rotation, too.
